The Gentleman’s Bedroom is one of four rooms located in the second cottage. These rooms are entered from under a wide covered porch which wraps around three sides of the cottage. Rocking chairs and potted plants are located outside the door on “your” porch. Overlooking the courtyard, this room features a 1940s full sized bed and matching suite of furniture along with an upholstered armchair and foot rest, captain’s chair, writing table and original fireplace mantel. Faux suede walls in tan and ochre are appropriate backgrounds for the framed hunt prints which form this room’s theme. The spacious bathroom provides handicapped accessibility if needed and features a hand-painted mural and walk-in shower with shower seat.
