Weddings, Receptions and Special Events at the Brady Inn
New for Fall 2010! We receive many requests to use the Brady Inn Bed & Breakfast for weddings and receptions. As a result, we have been landscaping the grounds this summer to provide a beautiful and romantic setting for this most special occasion. We will add photos of our progress shortly. Brady Inn Wedding Venue and Special Event Sites

Dining Room

Rehearsal dinners, luncheons, teas, private dinners, showers, meetings or other events can be catered or prepared on site in our commercial kitchen. The dining room, whose many windows overlook the pecan orchard and gardens, accommodates 40. Two half baths service this area.

The Courtyard

The landscaped courtyard provides an intimate setting for special events. The covered breezeway linking the two houses is elevated above the ground and provides both a lovely backdrop or a ready-made stage. Intimate weddings, cocktail parties, award and presentation ceremonies find a perfect venue.

The Wedding Garden

Tall, mature pecan trees shade the lawn and provide a lovely setting for our new romantic wedding venue in the Wedding Garden. Two arbors lead to the the wedding pergola set among Cryptomerira, Magnolias,Tea Olives and Dogwoods, boxwoods and many more shrubs and flowers.

The Croquet Lawn

To the right of the cottages, the large flat croquet lawn accommodates a 40 or 60 foot tent for up to 200 guests for weddings and receptions or dinners. A romantic Pergola provides another wedding site option. Guests can play croquet, badminton or volleyball -- a perfect area to use for family reunions, barbecues or low country boils.

Covered Porches and Breezeway

The attached cottage is surrounded on three sides by a wide continuous covered porch, perfect for setting up intimate tables to dine alfresco. The breezeway is set with tables and chairs for casual dining and has ceiling fans, lighting and music capability.

Wedding and Reception Pricing

Your wedding is as special and unique as you are. We work with you to customize your wedding. The prices below are only a guideline. Please give us an opportunity to discuss your wedding with you and provide a specific quote tailored just for you.

  1. Weekend Wedding Package. Exclusive use of Wedding Garden, grounds, and common areas for both your wedding and wedding reception from Friday at 3:00 PM until Sunday at 11:00 AM. Seven guest rooms are provided with private baths for bridal party or guests. Full breakfast service on Saturday and Sunday mornings is included for 14 people. $5000.00
  2. Single Day Wedding and Reception. Use of Wedding Garden, grounds, and common areas for both your wedding and wedding reception from 11:00 AM on day of wedding until 11:00 PM that evening. Two rooms are provided for bridal party use. Additional fees may be incurred if events are held on holidays. For less than 50 people or other options, call for pricing.
    Fridays and Saturdays: $4000.00
    Sundays: $2500.00
  3. Security for some functions may be required and is at the expense of the client. The type of function, number of guests, time held and alcohol served are considerations in determining the need for and number of security personnel required. The cost is generally $25.00 per hour; arrangements for personnel (off-duty police officers) will be made by the Innkeeper.
  4. Damage Deposit: A personal check in the amount of $500.00 will be held as a refundable damage deposit due when the balance of the grounds/facility usage fee is paid. The deposit less any charges for damages will be returned within five (5) days after the event. If damages greater than the deposit are incurred, client will be billed for the difference.
  5. Additional Fees: As each event is unique, other charges may apply if applicable. Examples of these include, but are not limited to: valet parking, additional electric service, special-site ceremony fees, etc.
  6. Reservation Deposit and Payment Schedule: A $ 250.00 “hold the date” deposit will secure the date and is refundable for the next 7 days at which time a non-refundable reservation deposit equal to ½ the total amount will be due. The $250.00 "hold the date" deposit can be used toward this payment. The balance will be due 60 days prior to the event. If the event is canceled no less than 120 days before the reserved date, no additional charges will accrue. After the 120 day notice has passed, unpaid balances and fees per the contract are due and must be paid in full.
